My passion for making a difference in the lives of our seniors began in 1994 when I took my first position as an Assisted living director in Tulsa, OK.  29 years later, I retired as a regional director overseeing 21 communities so I could help care for my dad after my mom unexpectedly passed. I’m very fortunate to be back in the industry I love helping families find the perfect placement for their loved ones. My range of work and life experience as the adult daughter provides me a unique perspective because I know, first hand, what you and your family are going through. I’m excited to be afforded the opportunity to share my knowledge with families navigating this process for the first time.

I am beyond excited to be part of the A Life for Senior’s dynamic team!  I spent the first 20 years of my career in banking and financial planning, which helped me understand the many factors involved in decision making.  For the past 15 years, I have been a business owner and consultant focused on education and senior living in CO, ID, and UT.  I have a passion for seniors and have experienced first-hand the importance of care and protection having been a care giver for my mother with Dementia. I was also involved in the placement of my mother and my two grandmothers into the loving care of senior communities.

When I am not advising and helping families navigate senior living choices, I spend time in the outdoors fishing, skiing and camping with my wife and families of my grown children.   I am also a part-time educator and volunteer at events and through non-profit organizations on topics to help protect seniors and elders from fraud, scams and neglect. When a family is looking for senior living, I want to help ensure more connection, comfort, and confidence.  I am committed to providing ethical, compassionate solutions that honor the dignity and best life for every senior.

For over 15 years, I have been dedicated to helping the seniors of southern Utah find the perfect place that aligns with their unique wishes and needs. I first started in this field working in admissions at a Fortune 500 skilled nursing and memory care facility. I then transitioned to home health and hospice, which led me to the assisted living facilities within our community—where I truly fell in love with the residents.

It’s a profound gift to connect with such special individuals, and I can’t think of a better way to use my industry knowledge than to guide you through the many housing and care options available within southern Utah. My goal is to help you find your special place as seamlessly as possible.

My love for working in senior care began in 2014. Through the years, I have worked at the community level, touring and getting to know families that were seeking assisted living or memory care.  I have also worked as a senior care advisor, helping seniors and their families locate the best community in the Treasure Valley for their loved ones' needs. Having worked with seniors and families for over 11 years, I bring valuable knowledge that may help families locate financial resources, such as the Veterans Aid and Attendance Pension and Medicaid.

It is my honor to be on the team with A Life for Seniors. I truly enjoy helping families navigate senior care needs and provide personalized solutions for their loved ones.  My goal is to guide you and your family during this transition, and to have the experience be as pleasant as possible for everyone.

My journey into the Senior Living industry began as so many others, as a deeply personal quest to find Assisted Living and  Memory Care communities for both my Mother and Father. I started as an Activities Director in 2013 and became an Administrator 2 years later. My experiences as an Executive Director in both California and Oregon have shaped me in more ways than I can count. I’m privileged to have learned so much from my residents- compassion, empathy, wisdom and perseverance to name a few.

I’m fortunate to have moved to Atlanta recently, and fell in love with my adopted hometown. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring this beautiful city and hanging out with my dog and two cats

Growing up, my grandpa was paralyzed. My family spent a lot of time volunteering in skilled nursing communities, but it wasn’t until my grandma had a stroke that I became interested in changing the industry.

I started my career as a server in an assisted living and worked my way up to running them. After years of doing that, I saw the need to help families understand the senior living world.

The process and change can be so overwhelming, so A Life for Seniors was created. I wanted to help families understand their options and navigate the experience with an expert who understands what to look for and what to ask! The model is a no cost service to families! I love doing what I do, and am excited to continue serving families.
