Growing up, my grandpa was paralyzed. My family spent a lot of time volunteering in skilled nursing communities, but it wasn’t until my grandma had a stroke that I became interested in changing the industry.

I started my career as a server in an assisted living and worked my way up to running them. After years of doing that, I saw the need to help families understand the senior living world.

The process and change can be so overwhelming, so A Life for Seniors was created. I wanted to help families understand their options and navigate the experience with an expert who understands what to look for and what to ask! The model is a no cost service to families! I love doing what I do, and am excited to continue serving families.

My professional journey began in the education sector, where I was deeply committed to the growth and well-being of others, guided by my expertise in Public Health. This path took a meaningful turn with my transition into the senior living industry, a shift that opened new avenues for my passion and skills.

As a Community Outreach Manager in this field, I now focus on building essential connections between our services and healthcare providers. I strive to clearly communicate the value and effectiveness of our senior care options, ensuring providers have the knowledge to confidently recommend our services to those in need.

For over 15 years, I have been dedicated to helping the seniors of southern Utah find the perfect place that aligns with their unique wishes and needs. I first started in this field working in admissions at a Fortune 500 skilled nursing and memory care facility. I then transitioned to home health and hospice, which led me to the assisted living facilities within our community—where I truly fell in love with the residents.

It’s a profound gift to connect with such special individuals, and I can’t think of a better way to use my industry knowledge than to guide you through the many housing and care options available within southern Utah. My goal is to help you find your special place as seamlessly as possible.

My passion for making a difference in the lives of our seniors began in 1994 when I took my first position as an Assisted living director in Tulsa, OK. 29 years later, I retired as a regional director overseeing 21 communities so I could help care for my dad after my mom unexpectedly passed. I’m very fortunate to be back in the industry I love helping families find the perfect placement for their loved ones. My range of work and life experience as the adult daughter provides me a unique perspective because I know, first hand, what you and your family are going through. I’m excited to be afforded the opportunity to share my knowledge with families navigating this process for the first time.

I’ve had a meteoric rise in the Senior Living industry achieving the title of Senior Executive Director, with strong experience in Active Adults, Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. It has been an unexpected journey when my beloved father was diagnosed with dementia. That set me on the path of knowledge and the passion to assist others in navigating their own Senior Care Journey.

My Mom had dementia. I remember how difficult it was when I was trying to help her. I had NO Idea what I was doing or how I could help. I felt like I had landed in a foreign land I didn’t know the language. It was a terrible feeling of helplessness. Mind you this was many years ago. There was not as many wonderful resources that they have now to help your loved one. I decided while I was going through that... I never want anyone to have to go through what my Mom and I had. If I can’t help you. I will help you find a resource that can help them.

I got involved with Senior Living Communities. I wanted to try something new. I absolutely love it! I felt this was what I was meant to do my whole life. It is never the same day twice. It’s always something new. I absolutely love hearing the stories from my clients.

I have worked in Assisted Living, Memory Care & Independent Living communities. I have helped a lot of clients and their families find the right community for them. In fact, I am still good friends with some still to this day.
